Deze actie was het resultaat van een onderzoek naar de bekende crimineel Chino Popy, een alias voor C\u00e9sar Eduardo Cruz Perea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Europa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hij zou, samen met zijn partner Jaime Cabana S\u00e1nchez, alias &#8220;Jimmy&#8221;, verantwoordelijk zijn voor meerdere drugstransporten naar Europese havens. Ondanks dat &#8220;Jimmy&#8221; momenteel gevangen zit in de Castro Castro-gevangenis in Lima, zou hij nog steeds actief zijn in de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wapwinkel.com\/blog\/verdachten-drugshandel-aangehouden\/\">drugshandel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Container<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens het Peruaanse Openbaar Ministerie was het plan om de coca\u00efne in een container in de haven van Callao te plaatsen en deze vervolgens naar Nederland te verschepen. Peru, samen met Colombia, is een van de grootste producenten van coca\u00efne ter wereld. De meeste coca\u00efne in <a href=\"https:\/\/nl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Peru\">Peru<\/a> wordt geproduceerd in de VRAEM-regio, een ontoegankelijk berggebied in het zuidoosten van het land.
