De 36-jarige Davy V.L. probeerde op 18 januari snelbouwstenen te stelen in Dessel, maar werd betrapt \u2013 en dat was nog maar het begin van zijn problemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bij een snelle blik in zijn auto ontdekte de politie een flesje GHB, en dat bleek slechts een voorproefje van wat ze later aantroffen. Een huiszoeking bracht een \u201chomelab\u201d aan het licht: een fles van 1,5 liter GHB, stapels lege en volle jerrycans gedemineraliseerd water en ontstopper \u2013 alles wat je nodig hebt voor een avondje GHB-koken. De politie trof zelfs een dampende kookpot op het fornuis aan, alsof hij net bezig was met een nieuwe batch \u201chuisgemaakte specialiteit\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maar dat was niet alles: naast het GHB-lab vond de politie ook nog een verboden wapen, namelijk een boksbeugel. Onze vriend uit Mol wordt uiteindelijk schuldig bevonden aan zowel het bezit van verboden wapens als de productie en handel van GHB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voorwaardelijke straf en boete<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Davy kreeg een voorwaardelijke gevangenisstraf van 24 maanden en een boete van 8.000 euro opgelegd \u2013 al is die boete grotendeels ook voorwaardelijk. De rechter was nog mild; Davy moet zich laten begeleiden voor zijn verslavingsproblemen en mag voorlopig geen drugs meer aanraken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En zo werd een poging tot het \u201clenen\u201d van bouwmateriaal het einde van deze amateur-chemicus\u2019 carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Een GHB-producent uit Mol liep letterlijk tegen de lamp toen hij besloot zijn geluk te beproeven met een diefstal op een werf.
