Er duiken steeds vaker berichten op van undercover acties van de politie op het darkweb. De onrust die daarmee gepaard gaat lijkt bijzonder effectief want veel handelaren haken af omdat het risico te hoog wordt gepakt te worden.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Steeds vaker doen undercover agenten zich voor als verkopers van kinderporno, drugs of wapens. Omdat er zeker bij wapens toch op enig moment persoonlijk contact tot stand moet komen tussen de koper en verkoper is er een hoog risico moment.<\/p>\n

\n

De uit Arnhem afkomstige Herman P. (42) liep in februari tegen de lamp. Via internet had hij afgesproken een\u00a0Smith&Wesson 2213<\/a>\u00a0te kopen bij hotel Van der Valk in Duiven. Kosten? 2.100 euro. Maar dan had hij er ook meteen een geluidsdemper en 500 patronen bij. De verkoper leerde P. kennen op Valhalla, een soort marktplaats op het deel van het internet waar ook veel duistere handel wordt gedreven.<\/p>\n

Ook heeft justitie al eens een keer een complete marktplaats, Hansa, op het darkweb overgenomen en een tijdje doorgedraaid. Door deze methode kon de politie ook diverse criminelen in de kraag grijpen.<\/p>\n

P. staat donderdag , samen met vijf andere verdachten, voor de rechtbank in Rotterdam voor het kopen van een illegaal vuurwapen. Naast de Arnhemmer gaat het om twee Haarlemmers, een Amsterdammer en de 28-jarige Nick J. uit Berg en Dal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
