De Belgische justitie heeft dinsdag de 58 jarige Nederlandse drugsverdachte Guido \u201cWilly\u201d W. uitgeleverd aan Rusland. Hij zou tonnen aan coca\u00efne vanuit Latijns-Amerika via Russische havens naar West-Europa te hebben gesmokkeld. Volgens het\u00a0AD<\/a>\u00a0traceerde de Russische politie hem al in 2013 in Belgisch Limburg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guido W. zal in Rusland terecht moeten staan voor de verdenking van de oprichting van een criminele organisatie en grootschalige drugshandel.\u00a0De naar Rusland verscheepte drugs zat verstopt tussen legale exportladingen, meestal polyethyleen korrels. Vanuit Russische havens gingen er drugstransporten naar het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland. Guido W. stond jarenlang internationaal gesignaleerd bij Interpol, maar werd alsmaar niet gepakt. Het onderzoeksteam ontdekte echter dat vrouw en dochter van W. in Belgi\u00eb woonden. In Antwerpen is W. begin 2015 tot een gevangenisstraf van 54 maanden veroordeeld voor drugsfeiten maar bleef op vrije voeten. Er liep nog een hoger beroep die de verdachte in vrijheid mocht afwachten.<\/p>\n

In Panama zit een andere\u00a0verdachte in de Russische zaak in de cel. Dat is de Brit Leo Francis M.. De Russen stellen dat in de cokehandel W. de rechterhand was van deze Brit was. Er is een kroongetuige in Rusland die belastende verklaringen tegen de twee heeft afgelegd: de vermogende Vadim Petrov, die grootaandeelhouder is van twee ondernemingen: Moskol en Monacall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
